Shanna Kuehn, a student in the Industrial Hygiene program, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Northwest Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).

Shanna graduated with a Master of Public Health – Industrial Hygiene and Human Factors and Ergonomics from the University of Minnesota.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy/Religious Studies from St. Cloud State University. She is the current President of the local AIHA Student Section – University of Minnesota and is in the process of starting an ASSE student section at the University of Minnesota.
